This session will examine the Hierarchy of Instructional Excellence, developed by John Wink, which prioritizes the order of teacher development for ultimate success. Participants will examine why teachers need to know their students as deeply as they know the lessons they share with these students if they want to maximize learning. While John's book, The Leader's Guide to Excellence in Every Classroom is not required for this session, it would be a great resource.
