NWAESC(2095)---Human Trafficking (Morgan Nick Foundation Group)
There are 2 to 4 million victims of human trafficking every year. 50% of those are estimated to be children under the age of 18. 300,000 of those victims under the age of 18 in the United States are lured into this commercial sex trade each year. Others are forced, blackmailed, sextorted, or sold. Where does this happen? Why does this happen? and who is this happening to? How can we help to identify those being trafficked and make a difference in their lives. We will discuss these issues and more and the role educators play in the world of Sex Trafficking.
