ARESC-Writing in the K-2 Classroom



This 6-hour session focuses on the skills of writing as they compare to the skills of reading. The role of handwriting instruction and the amount of writing done in the classroom will be examined, as well as Ehri's Phases of Writing model. Participants will leave with strategies for instructing early sentence writing.

Participants not under contract with ARESC's Member districts will be charged a fee of $25 per day, or $15 per half day. Payment is required prior to the event session.Disclaimer*** Registered participants who do not attend and fail to cancel their registration will be held liable for the registration fee if applicable.
