In CGI Year 2, teachers explore a framework for how elementary school children learn concepts of number, operations, and early algebra. Teachers also learn how to use this framework to engage their students in the Standards of Mathematical Practice described in the Arkansas Mathematics Standards. What teachers learn in a CGI Institute enhances how they implement any curriculum or resource materials.
