GFESC Ignite student interest in Biology!
Designed specifically for biology teachers, this workshop will immerse participants in engaging, student centered instruction that aligns with the three-dimensional performance expectations of the Arkansas standards for the Biology Integrated course. Teachers will gain an understanding of how phenomena are leveraged at the beginning of a biology storyline to spark student interest, engage students in a coherent sequence of sense making, and provide equitable access to learning experiences for all students.
