ARESC-Spring into Wellness



Attendees will receive education in naloxone (narcan) use, as well as education on the ongoing opioid crisis in Arkansas. The QPR training covers three steps anyone can learn to help prevent suicide. People trained on QPR will learn to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. Vaping will address the current trends, nicotine addiction, and cessation resources. Spotting sex trafficking: participant will discover that it’s not what you see in the movies. Chronic abdominal pain and headaches in children will focus on when do you get concerned and what to do in the school setting. This workshop is for wellness committee chairs and members. Lunch will be served.

Participants not under contract with ARESC's Member districts will be charged a fee of $25 per day, or $15 per half day. Payment is required prior to the event session.Disclaimer*** Registered participants who do not attend and fail to cancel their registration will be held liable for the registration fee if applicable.
