OUR Secondary (Grades 7-12) Decoding Strategies
This session will provide secondary teachers with instructional strategies to help older students learn to read through explicit instruction in phonics, syllabication, and morphology for decoding and spelling. This instruction is intended to be used as an intervention in these grade levels. Content area teachers, ELA teachers, Special Education teachers, ELL teachers, teachers in alternative settings, paraprofessionals, and interventionists are invited to attend.
