AFESC-Communicating in a Crisis for Administrators



Communication 101: Strong communication can often prevent problems from occurring or escalating. Furthermore, effective communication encourages school and community engagement as it keeps stakeholders informed about what is going on in the school. Having good communication and public relations strategies reinforces a strong connection between the school, the home, and the community. This session will provide an overview of effective school communication strategies for everyday and managing communication during crisis situations.  The session will be presented by Betsy Bailey, School/Community Coordinator for the Searcy Public Schools.

Current educators in Arch Ford PD Consortium districts may attend the session for free.  All others will be required to pay the session fee on the day of the session. Arch Ford educators receive priority for seats in a session.
