Professional Learning Communities identify priority standards in order to develop and implement a guaranteed and viable curriculum for their students at the district/school.
In science, the performance expectations are 3 dimensional and are the endpoints of learning for grade bands, causing the process to be different than the process undertaken by other subject areas.
Participants will receive guidance in selecting power standards (essential standards) and learning targets in science.
