This course focuses on general principles for administering and scoring standardized
assessments. Participants will also learn specific administration/scoring guidelines for several commonly administered assessments for identifying students with characteristics of dyslexia. The Comprehensive Test of Phonological Processing -2, the Gray Oral Reading Test -5, the Woodcock Reading Mastery Test – 3, the Kaufman Test of Educational Achievement – 3, and several others will be discussed, demonstrated, and practiced. If time allows, 3-5 case studies will be introduced for interpretation and grouping choices.
NOTE: Participant parking, unless handicapped, is in the large parking lot at the bottom of the stairs. Please be sure to park in the participant parking lot, not the small employee lot located in the middle of thew Cooperative building.
