Recent statistics states "more than 1.5 million children and adolescents lost a primary caregiver due to the covid-19 pandemic." Helping children deal with death can be very challenging for adults, especially adults who are also grieving. Adolescents are not children and not adults. Adolescents are unique group of grievers facing a unique set of issues as they travel through the grief process. This workshop will address the primary challenges facing our youth and helpful strategies for caretakers to consider in assisting and encouraging them through the grief process.
