OUR FACS Program Tour & Networking
FACS teachers will have the opportunity to tour the FACS program at Cotter High School and learn about best practices, technology, curriculum, certifications, classroom management, and program acitivites from experienced FACS teacher, Deanna Franks. There will also be a fun networking activity involving exploring creative outlets in the personal design process that will encourage FACS teachers to form relationships and collaborate with other FACS teachers. This activity could also be replicated to use with students when building officer teams, etc.
The target audience of this event includes all FACS teachers. There will be a lot of valuable information for new FACS teachers, but this will also be an excellent retention event for experienced FACS teachers to network with others, gain new ideas for improving their programs, and feel supported by peers.
