This in-person ESOL and Language Minority Student specific eSchool & EL Plan Technical Assistance work session can be used as a whole day OR drop-in support based on your district's need and availability of attendees.
We will work on ensuring Language Minority Students (LMS), English Learners (ELs), and Former ELs are appropriately indicated in eSchool and have all of the correct fields completed. We will run clean Language Minority Student Error Reports and ESL/Language Minority Student List - on Cognos to ensure Cycle 2 LMS Data is correct.
We will work to complete Non-Title III EL Plans for submission in Indistar using the 23/24 EL Plan template. Indistar access is not necessary. If the coordinator does not have district eSchool access, they should bring data indicating grade level and Language Instruction Education Program (LIEP) models used.
*Prerequisite for participating in eSchool assistance: District eSchool access or an attendee with district eSchool entry capabilities is needed for eSchool technical assistance.
