The Cognitive Coaching 1-Day Overview is part of several DESE-approved options/pathways for Mentoring Program Specialists at Cooperatives and Experienced Mentor Teachers at districts to expand their coaching skills and meet Arkansas Novice Teacher Mentoring requirements (see page 8 of the DESE Novice Teacher Mentoring Manual).
The Cognitive Coaching 1-Day Overview may also be offered to interested administrators and teachers in ESC partner districts as well as mentor specialists and mentor teachers in neighboring cooperative districts, based on space/registration.
