Let's Talk Turkey: The Economics of Thanksgiving 2023 Webinar
As Americans sit down to enjoy Thanksgiving this year, the most common food item found on dinner tables will be turkey. This fun webinar will allow participants to "talk turkey" and make many economic connections!
Each year Arkansas Farm Bureau produces an annual survey to share the cost to feed a family of 10 a Thanksgiving meal. Last year the cost was up from the previous year. What caused the change? What will the survey say this year? Matt Jackson, Arkansas Ag in the Classroom Director, will join us to share specifics about Arkansas' role in preparing those food items!
Upon successful completion, participants will receive:
1 hour of professional development credit
Free choice of a children's book
Target audience: K-12 educators
