AFESC-Assistive Technology Foundations: Paving the way for highly effective AT teams

Assistive technology plays a vital role in providing access for students with disabilities across educational settings, and is a very effective way to increase outcomes! Join us as we spend the morning diving into what assistive technology is, what our responsibilities are under the law, and how to get started in terms of consideration, assessment, and feature-matching.  We will then conclude the day with an interactive lab providing participants hands-on access to a variety of AT devices.

The afternoon session is not required.
