DSC Blast Off to Rocketry Certification!



5-4-3-2-1: BLAST-OFF! Found out how to combine a hobby with instructional targets of force, energy and engineering within your classroom. You will learn the steps it takes to become a National Association of Rocketry Certified Teacher. By attending a prior Zoom in April or May, steps may be taken so you may complete your certification at this session. Participants who attend with no background will be able to start the process and get support from certified NAR members present. Participants not certifying will be able to build a small rocket that will be launched in the afternoon. Participants certifying will need to bring their lesson plan and materials needed specific to their lesson plan. Explore funding sources, grant opportunities and the American Rocketry Challenge! There will be time to hear about local Rocketry Launches. Lunch not provided so you may bring a sack lunch or pick up something locally. Presenters: Shan Wade and Susan Allison
