SE Becoming Trauma Aware to Improve Classroom Climate and Management



3 mini sessions will be the basis of this session to include: 

TRAUMA SENSITIVE ENVIRONMENTS: focuses on student emotions, safety & security and adverse childhood experiences, along with strategies to help students de-escalate and regulate emotions and behavior.

TRUST INSIDE AND OUT interactive session includes hands-on group rotation activities providing tips to de-escalate, spot signs of distress and learn about stress induced learning loss.

POSITIVELY POWERFUL  focuses on how language and environment affects our mood and the mood of those around us, while sharing practical ways to bring more positivity into the classroom and into our personal lives.
