SCSC -The 4H Yoga :Move It/ Community Health Nurse's Creative Learning Techniques
The 4-H Yoga: Move It! The curriculum provides a 20-minute flexible physical activity routine designed for educators to provide to their youth audience. Objectives: * Educators will learn to deliver the 4-H Yoga Move It! * Demonstrate ability to develop 4-H Yoga Move It! session * Demonstrate Yoga Poses and Routines Preparing for the training: *Please complete the pre-survey by June 1st. *Make sure to wear athletic clothes on the training date. *Hydrate before and after attending the 3 hour training. For the afternoon session we will share Community Health Specialist’s creative learning techniques to help engage students and make learning fun: through visuals, games, and interactive PowerPoint presentations.
Important Session Information:
For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any training.
