BX3 Cohort 5 team members will begin their journey by attending this one day regional kickoff meeting. Objectives of this meeting include:
Network with other BX3 teams and BSS coaches
Determine monthly schedule and discuss procedures for coaching sessions and independent behavior team meetings
Discuss current initiatives and processes for student behavior supports
Assess current level of implementation of tiered behavior supports using the Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI). Sources of data that may help teams complete the TFI include, but are not limited to: Behavior team meeting agendas and action plan
Behavior matrix
TFI walkthroughs
Disciplinary data and/or discipline flowchart
Lesson plans for behavior expectations
Student/staff handbooks
Menu of tier 2 interventions
Decision rules for Tier 2 and 3
Survey data or other stakeholder input
Begin considering SMART goal(s) and an action plan for your team
