CRESC - USTA PE Tennis Workshop: Teaching Tennis, The Sport for Life



The United States Tennis Association (USTA) offers PE teachers everything they need to teach a tennis unit at their school using their existing PE space:
? Thirty (30) free racquets, low compression balls, chalk, and barrier tape to use as nets
? Comprehensive K-12 lesson plans co-created by the USTA and SHAPE America
? School activity demonstration videos
? Tennis and fitness activity station signs
? Free professional development workshops to train physical education teachers on how to bring tennis into the classroom

Workshops Benefits:
? Learn how to teach basic tennis skills while adhering to SHAPE America standards
