**Days 1-2 should be completed prior to Days 3-4.**
In
the eight-day Cognitive Coaching Foundations Seminar,® participants
learn how to: develop trust and rapport, develop an identity as a
mediator of thinking, utilize conversation structures for planning,
reflecting and problem resolving, develop teachers' autonomy and sense
of community, develop higher levels of efficacy, consciousness,
craftsmanship, flexibility and interdependence; apply four support
functions: coaching, evaluating, consulting, collaborating; utilize the
coaching tools of pausing, paraphrasing, and posing questions;
distinguish among the five forms of feedback; and use data to mediate
thinking.
The training will take place from 8:30 am-4:00 pm. Each
2-day session equals 12 hours of credit. Full participation in-person,
including in all practice sessions and the afternoon performance
assessment, is required. Space is limited to 40 participants and
participants should ensure they are available the full day before
registering. The fee includes lunch, snacks, coffee, and tea for both days.
