SCSC Strategic Reading: Day 4 "Comprehending Grade Level Texts"



In Strategic Reading: Day 4, participants will bring essential elements of reading comprehension (i.e., background knowledge, vocabulary, language structures, verbal reasoning, and literacy knowledge) to life through the use of district adopted grade level high quality instructional materials (HQIM).
NOTE: Participants should bring digital devices, HQIM, pacing guides, and any other materials needed to plan for an upcoming Strategic Reading module.

Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any training.
