This day of training focuses on a systematic, engaging approach aimed at developing learners' understanding of how words work and developing vocabulary knowledge through speaking, reading, and writing. Educators will understand the importance of guiding students toward making discoveries about word relationships and generalizing their understandings in order to read, spell, and write more efficiently. Assessments will be examined and criteria will be analyzed to determine vocabulary selection for instruction. RISE 3-6 Days 1-3 are prerequisites for this session.
