CRESC_MITS Personal Care Training (ADE)
Medicaid in the Schools (MITS), a program of the Arkansas Department of Education, serves as a liaison to the LEA to support the administration of school-based Medicaid Reimbursement. MITS assists districts in maximizing reimbursement and supporting school districts with the tools needed to be Medicaid compliant. This training will give you the tools needed for reconciliation of Medicaid Remittance Advise and Medicaid Match, third-party insurance denials and billing, third party vendor guidance and reporting, claiming submission and denials, completion of DMS-640 forms, and other school related documentation. Training is beneficial for those staff members in the district that perform Medicaid clerk/billing tasks. Assistance with billing questions will be provided.
