The NOVA Advanced Level Community Crisis Response Team Training (CCRT) course helps those who have completed the Basic CCRT course better understand the intellectual foundations of the NOVA Crisis Response Team Training model and perfect necessary skills in applying the model. This twenty-four-hour Advanced course builds upon the essential NOVA CCRT protocols with current best practices. Participants in this course will enhance their learned skills while fostering the development of team leadership, addressing trauma affecting special populations, working with the media and understanding Family and Friends Reception and Reunification Center/Family Assistance Center development.
In order to attend the Advanced Community Crisis Response Team Training, participants must have completed the Basic Community Crisis Response Team Training.
