Important Session Information:

"We must broaden our definition of gifted students in order to be inclusive rather than exclusive. Many children have talents or gifts that may not be formally recognized by testing but need nurturing nevertheless." (Judy A. Willis)

Middle school education is often a “black hole” for gifted students, seldom providing an adequate challenge. By understanding how the brain works, however, we can make learning exciting and stimulating—for all youngsters.

Explore the research-based strategies of Dr. Judy Willis to help develop and implement positive and rewarding learning experiences that will then be stored in long-term memory rather than “deleted” or “filtered out.
