Design at least two interactive reading books incorporating active engagement through a make and take portion.
Important Session Information:
Are you looking to increase learning and engagement among students when using reading materials and activities and supporting students with visual impairments? Throughout this make and take, let your reading materials come to life by adding tactile elements and movement to increase engagement and motivation. This two-hour, hands-on course will provide ideas for accessible, interactive books. We will explore the benefits of tactile features for learners and the benefits of movement and learning. You will practice what you learn by adding tactile features to two books that you will then be able to take with you. Don't let your book pages stay flat on the paper, bring them to life with this make and take course.
