Concrete Learners, Abstract World: Academic Writing for Students with Autism and Related Disabilities




This session is designed to provide educators with effective instructional strategies to assist students with autism and related disabilities with academic writing. Participants will learn to identify cognitive processing differences of students with ASD and utilize vertical alignment documents, as well as evidence-based practices to support and strengthen written expression.
