Dive into Force, Motion, and Energy: Grades 3-5




In this session, we will take an in depth look at force, motion and energy. We will begin with a category study that involves streamlined TEKS, analyzing test questions, and viewing the TEA blueprint. Next, we will complete hands-on activities with performance assessments. Then, we will look at ways to incorporate technology, science notebooking connections, literature connections, and how the activity can be extended. Finally, you will create a make and take activity of your choice that will be ready to put in place in your classroom. You will develop the activity, instructions, and a quick formative assessment piece. IMPORTANT: Please bring a device with you so that we may log onto our online resources.
