Instructional Leader as Coach

Peter Northouse (2013) defines leadership as, "a process whereby an individual influences a group of individuals to achieve a common goal" (p.5). Kleine-Kracht (1993) suggests that for school improvement to occur educators must learn together through "questioning, investigating, and seeking solutions" (p. 393). During this session, we will explore how concepts included in these quotes can serve as catalysts to guide coaching conversations.
