Measuring Student Growth in Every Classroom: Lessons Learned Implementing Student Learning Objectives
Share
Over six years ago, TxCEE drew upon national research and lessons learned from practitioners to assist Texas school districts in successfully implementing SLOs in more than 200 campuses. To pave the way for additional districts to replicate this work, TxCEE has designed a workshop to guide district and campus administrators through a SLO readiness assessment and development of a management plan and implementation process. You will learn that there are various levels of rigor in which you can implement SLOs. At the end of this one day workshop, you will have deepened your knowledge of SLOs, developed a plan to manage them in your district, and developed a plan to align SLOs with teacher evaluation and professional learning activities such as coaching and mentoring.
