Comprehensive Needs Assessment Training
Laying the Foundation


Not only is the Comprehensive Needs Assessment (CNA) a requirements under Title I-A, but it is also the foundation to building your District/Campus Improvement Plans and ensuring efficient use of funds to improve student achievement. In this session, ESC personnel will provide districts with information on how to complete and document the CNA process. Further, districts will receive tools and resources to help them perform a compliant and effective CNA.

Important Session Information:

Campuses operating a schoolwide program must conduct a comprehensive needs assessment of the entire school that includes: Information on the academic achievement of students in relation to the challenging State academic standards, particularly the needs of those students who are failing, or are at-risk of failing, to meet the challenging State academic standards and any other factors as determined locally.
