Switches and simple voice output devices make it possible for students with physical and complex communication challenges to actively participate during instructions lessons and daily activities. When an appropriate switch or voice output device is selected for the student, opportunities to take an active part during instructional lessons and communication interactions increase. This session will introduce a variety of switches and simple voice output devices and provide ideas for students to engage, actively participate in activities and build independence throughout the school day.
