NPD CLASS Project: Improving Instruction for Emergent Bilingual Students
Share
TxCEE is seeking schools to implement the CLASS project as a part of a National Professional Development (NPD) Grant, at no cost to districts. As a part of this project, elementary campuses with at least 20% Emergent Bilingual (EB) students will implement collaborative learning communities across three tiers to support all teachers, novice teachers (0-2 years), and those seeking a bilingual/ESL certification. The grant will provide campuses with 1) evidence-based professional development aligned with district systems to improve instruction for EBs, 2) coaching and support for teacher leaders who facilitate learning communities or mentor novice teachers, and 3) reimbursements of up to $500 for participating teacher leaders. Join this webinar for more information.
