MTSS - Leadership Module for Administrators - Developing Your MTSS Problem Solving Team

In this workshop, participants will evaluate the district's existing teams relative to the MTSS framework. Participants will be able to identify key members of an MTSS team, define the roles of the team members, create consistent expectations for team operations and discover the options for the district or campus's own problem-solving team. The goal is to maximine the effective systems and initiatives already in place and reduce overlap in function so there are fewer meetings, better access to interventions and instructional strategies, and ultimately better outcomes for students with potentially less time and effort required from you and your staff. Considerations for implementation will also be covered and participants will have an opportunity to review additional MTSS supports available including on-site training for your team, monitoring for fidelity of implementation and coaching for individual team members.
