The Beginning Teacher 3 Day Academy includes the following topics: Becoming an effective teacher, Getting ready for the first days, Managing the classroom environment, Maintaining positive student behavior, Understanding the standards, Vocabulary & visuals, Learning & the learner, Working with parents & families, Being a professional educator, Managing stress, lead4ward Tools, Resources, and Engaging Instructional Strategies.

This two-part academy series is designed to support beginning teachers in setting up an effective and successful classroom.

Not only will teachers be provided a system of support throughout the school year,but they will also engage in collaborative workshops to enhance instruction and create a positive classroom environment.
