Help! This Kid is Driving Me Crazy!
Share
Today's children are operating at a behavioral disadvantage. Time out of school for COVID, varying degrees of parental support, and excessive screen time all contribute to behavioral challenges that make life difficult for school personnel. We can no longer count on students knowing how to "do school" when they enter the classroom. This session provides lots of tips, tricks, and proven, research-based strategies for you to utilize in your classroom and to share with your staff when they need help dealing with behaviorally challenging students. We will cover techniques for both older and younger students as well as what works for attentionally challenged students and students who suffer with anxiety and depression. The skills learned in this workshop will help you to manage your classroom and make teaching easier and more satisfying.
