'Stuck on You' - Discover Chichuahuan Desert Cacti - Grades 5-8

Get out of the heat to the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center & Botanical Gardens in the Davis Mountains and discover two biomes – grasslands and desert, where cacti thrive. Tour the lush Botanical Gardens and explore the Cactus Museum Collection. Find out about the most biologically diverse desert in the Western Hemisphere, and learn about cactus adaptations for desert survival, cool facts, soil composition, threats, and cactus care. Plus, there will be a fun make-and-take to start your classroom cactus garden.
