ESC - SLP Webinar Series 10: Ethical Assessment and Management of Feeding and Swallowing Disorders in the School Setting
Share
Providing safe and adequate nutrition during the school day falls under the purview of the license of a speech-language pathologist or occupational therapist as we provide a free and appropriate public education to the students we serve. This presentation will address the ethical issues associated with and the need for assessment and management of feeding and swallowing disorders in the school setting. Identification of key elements in performing a feeding and swallowing assessment in the school setting and creating a school-based feeding plan will be discussed. This session will satisfy the Ethics requirements for the Texas state license and for ASHA certification maintenance.
