Bridges : A Dyslexia Intervention Connecting, Teacher, Avatar and Students




"A unique program designed to build on the strengths of Take Flight. Bridges makes this very effective approach to dyslexia intervention more widely accessible. Bridges is designed to maintatin high quality dyslexia instruction while reducing teacher preparation time from two years to two weeks! The digital avatar teacher, named Ms. Hallie, delivers the more complex aspects of structured dyslexia intervention. Certified teachers are provided with two weeks of instruction (one preliminary week and the other days offered as coaching and training throughout the first and second years). The program provides scripted manuals, that when combined with the training, equips certified teachers the tools needed to provide a research-based dyslexia intervention. Bridges requires a full-time certified teacher who will follow a script for 3/4 of the lesson. The other 1/4 of the lesson will be co-taught by Ms. Hallie, our virtual human avatar. Important Session Information:


Tailor-Made packages will need to purchase the kit and software before attending the Bridges session. The cost to purchase the kit and software is $1820.00 from Scottish Rite. Plus $100.00 training fee.

If not in a Tailor-Made package, the fee is $1000.00 for the training plus the cost of the kit and software purchased from Scottish Rite.
