Sexual Abuse, Human Trafficking, and Other Maltreatment of Children

The 86 th Legislature mandates 1 hour of the above titled training for all school board members. New board members should receive this training within 120 days of being elected or appointed to the board. Experienced board members should receive this training every two years. Superintendents are required to receive 2.5 hours every 5 years. The above mentioned training can count as 1 hour towards this requirement.
