Social Studies TEKS Overview for Grades K-12

This two-day training will provide an overview of the new Social Studies TX Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). Participants will examine the organization of the revised SS TEKS, identify new elements, & explore the alignment of the standards, instruction, & assessment in the classroom. The training is designed to build participant knowledge of College & Career Readiness Standards (CCRS), English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS), & Response to Intervention (RTI).

Important Session Information:

Sessions will be held at Lee High School. Room assignments will be determined at later date.
