Unlicensed Diabetic Care Assistant Training
This training will prepare the participants to meet the requirements of HB 984 which are to develop and implement a Diabetes Plan for each student with diabetes who will seek care. The training will describe the following: * Individualized Health Plan * Unlicensed Diabetes Care Assistant * Required Care of Students with Diabetes * Independent Monitoring and Treatment * Immunity From Disciplinary Action The participants will receive a generic Diabetes Policy that can be customized to meet the needs of their district. This training is strongly suggested for each year, but not required by law.
