Through the Trauma-Informed Looking Glass,
Part 1: Self-Assessment through a Trauma-Informed Lens
Do you feel alone, overwhelmed, or confused in your efforts
to address the needs of those in your school who have experienced trauma? Are
you looking for ways to integrate free or contracted mental health services and
Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) to meet the ever-changing needs of your
diverse student population?
During this session of the Trauma
Informed System of Supports networking series, teams will learn how
trauma impacts the brain, the definition and
examples of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES), and other significant research. Groups will establish a trauma-informed lens
through which to view policies, practices, and procedures already in use.
Collaborate with other schools/districts and consultants who received their
certification through the National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children,
to work towards a systems-based approach to addressing trauma.
This session is the first of a series of four. If
the team would like to register for the entire series, please contact Mary Beth
Greco (513.674.4259 or marybeth.greco@hcesc.org) for
discounted pricing and registration.
Fee: $1250.00 (includes school/district team of an
