Training and resources received will assist students as they prepare for the accomplishment of post-secondary goals in the areas of higher education, training and obtaining competitive employment.
The purpose of this event is to provide students with disabilities and their families with information about supports and services available in their community. Participants will gain resources that will help students navigate a successful
adult life after graduation.
These are key components that should be addressed in transition planning for ALL of your students!
- Do your students have a good plan for their life after graduation?
- Do they know what supports and services they will need to ensure their success?
- Do they know how and when to access needed support?
Sessions will help parents and students understand the transition planning process and the importance of their participation.
Topics include:
- self-determination/advocacy;
- transportation options/travel training;
- accessing support in college, and more
Exhibitors include:

- Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority;
- Texas Workforce Solutions – Vocational Rehabilitation, and more
Please note a 1:10 teacher to student ration is required for this event.
