Virtual Math Manipulative Mania
Let’s unpack your virtual math tools and explore different ways you and your students can use them during virtual math instruction! Participants will have the opportunity to explore a variety of virtual math manipulatives that are available online for free and learn how to get their students to engage in math with them using ClassKick and Google Slides. Participants will experience how virtual manipulatives give learners the same opportunity to make meaningful connections and see relationships as the result of their actions, just like a physical manipulative! Providing distance learning doesn't mean you can't use manipulatives.
