Author's Purpose and Craft ASYNCHRONOUS course
Reading and Writing to Learn for the Secondary Student




This online course will have participants dive deeper into the Author's Purpose and Craft strand of the ELAR TEKS. It is designed for participants to go through a self-paced study of how this strand is crucial to reading and writing instruction. 

The link to the course will open on 9:00am Monday, June 14th, 2021, and close on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 11:59pm. Participants will have a two month window to go through the content and complete activities that will highlight evidence-based strategies designed to get students actively using texts for various reasons. 

 


Important Workshop Information:


**This is a technology self-paced summer workshop. You must register by the start date in order to gain access to the digital materials needed to complete this session. If it is after the start date, please contact me if you are still interested in this workshop. 

I will be available via email or phone for questions and assistance the entire time, but will not be teaching live.
