Texas Department of Agriculture-Food & Nutrition is sponsoring Contracting Entity training through the Regional 2 Education Service Center in Feeding Infants in Their First Years, Menu Planning for Child Care, Planning Nutritious Snacks for Child Care, Kitchen Math, Food Buying Guide (Child and Adult), Food Production Records (Child and Adult), Record Keeping (Sponsor and Sites), Healthy Recognition Award, Enrollment and Eligibility, Intro to CACFP, and Civil Rights Training.

Important Workshop Information:


This Food Manager’s Certification Course is for food managers working at a center operating CACFP.  This is an essential course for those who need to obtain a certificate in order to work in a food establishment. This class will explore fundamentals of food safety, food borne illness, time and temperature control, preventing cross-contamination, cleaning and sanitizing, safe food preparation, receiving and storing food and applicable food safety regulations.  Spaces are limited to 2 per Center.
