Insights into the STEM Toolkit- Community Tools edition (Self-Paced Online Course)




Utilizing the STEM Toolkit from TEA and resources developed from the Region 2 Texas EcosySTEM, Insights into the STEM Toolkit- Community Tools Edition looks to provide you an understanding of the tools available for your campus and district as you seek to find ways to connect with your community through STEM implementation on your campus.

This course is designed to showcased the opportunities available in Region 2 and how to connect with your STEM leads at the Education Service Center.  

Capping off the course, you will identify where your campus falls in the implementation levels of STEM and what you look to do moving forward to implement STEM on your campus and in your district.

This is an online self-paced course.  While it may have a different end date, once registered, you will receive an email with a link to the google classroom to begin your coursework.  Once all assignments are submitted, you will receive credit.

Important Workshop Information:


This course seeks to provide districts with insight into the community tools along with the pathway to explore the whole STEM Toolkit from TEA. The course also provides links to resources from the Region 2 Texas EcosySTEM along with Region 2 STEM course offerings, and an opportunity to use ESSER funds to support STEM integration on your campus. To receive credit for the course, you will construct a plan for your campus/district discussing your ideas for STEM moving forward as it pertains to your campus.

This will be an asynchronous training. 

Once registration is complete, participants will be sent an email with directions on how to complete the course via google classroom.

 It is encouraged to finish the course within three weeks to ensure internalization of the material, but you will have access this course for the fiscal year, then it will be archived.
